Our kitchen is grounded in Swahili coastal cooking: grilled fish, pilau rice, coconut-based curries, and freshly baked mandazi. We source produce from the Mombasa municipal market daily. Continental options are available for breakfast and are suitable for guests who prefer familiar fare alongside local dishes.

Mombasa has one of East Africa’s richest food traditions: pilau spiced with cardamom, cloves, and cinnamon; fresh fish from the Indian Ocean; and mandazi still warm from the pan. Our kitchen takes that tradition seriously and cooks from it every day.
